Are you a University or Technical College Student?
Get 1 month free PLUS up to ¥1,050 OFF per month for 10 months!
For 1st-time applicants* who are currently enrolled in a qualifying university, college, junior college, technical college, or prep school (daigaku, tanki-daigaku, senmongakko, yobiko), etc., and have a student ID showing validity in the current school term.

Basic Rules for the Campaigns

Separate application for the benefits must be made after connection but before the free period expires.
- Applicants may not receive both Moving and Student discounts and must:
- Specify either Moving Campaign or Student Campaign on when applying
- Register online after connection
- Provide documentation by postal mail.

Student applicants must provide their student ID with photo showing validity during the current school term to Yahoo! BB on a special form they'll receive after doing the online registration for the benefit.*

Movers must provide copies of their Alien Registration Certificate ('gaijin card') showing a move to the connection address dated between June 1, 2010 and May 31, 2011 on the back or a Landing Date (date arrived in Japan) during the same period on the front of the card to Yahoo! BB on a special form they'll receive after doing the online registration for the benefit.*

Benefits not available if the applicant used Yahoo! BB in the past or when the same phone number at the same address had Yahoo! BB service within the prior six months.
One Full Month Free BBTV if ordered together with ADSL service!
First-time* applicants who request BBTV by May 31, 2010 with their initial application (not later) get the Basic Channel Pack and set-top box rental free for one full month.
